I’m lucky to have you.
Thursday, August 19th, 2010Honestly, for that, I really feel that we’re being bad and selfish parents. I’m lucky to have you as my wife. We’re lucky to be in this together as a family with Bugoy. I love you!

Once again I revised my security list.
1. Avira AntiVir Personal, currently being used as the real-time anti-virus engine
2. Comodo Firewall with Defense+ and Sandboxing enabled, pretty light on the system
3. Prevx SafeOnline, for banking safety, also as a second layer as HIPS and malware scanner
4. Hitman Pro, installed as a “second-opinion” malware on-demand scanner
5. Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware, installed as another malware on-demand scanner
6. Vba32 AntiRootkit, me being paranoid, and I’m also using the BETA version for this.
7. PeerBlock IP Filter, my IP blocker, especially when I use uTorrent, currently blocking Spy sites, .edu list and Anti-P2P organizations
8. No Autorun, just another system hardening program
9. Secunia PSI, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
Not to mention that I use Firefox for browsing, using CCleaner for cleaning (I don’t know if this helps security) and set OpenDNS for my DNS.
I’d rather miss…
playing Counter-Strike
conquering the world in Civilization IV
completing objects on World in Conflict
subduing factions in Sins of a Solar Empire Trinity
the Liddel, Franklin superfight
the NBA Finals 2010
the FIFA 2010 World Cup
remembering our Independence Day
watching the Makati City and Jejomar Binay celebration
reading any news about Noynoy Aquino
overlooking Manila at night on Antipolo
resting at Tagaytay, Baguio, Bohol,
beaching at Boracay, Aman Pulo or even the Caribbean
staying at Shangri-la hotels, the MGM Grand or even at Burj al-Arab
sightseeing at The White House, Eiffel Tower, Lourve Museum or at Buckingham Palace
going to the Great Wall of China, Mayan Ruins, Stonehenge, Pyramids of Giza, Angkor Wat or Taj Mahal
I’d rather miss the most beautiful sunset, a perfect solar eclipse, or even the greatest supernova explosion
than miss the moment I got married, became a father and named our son Sean Hammond.
PS:

After I screwed him over by “pitik-tactic”, too bad it’s now rendered obsolete. He got circumcised now. Boo! No more teasing, he’s now a man, well except he’s just 8 years old, and is currently wearing a dress. At least I got to warn him about the “wonders” of the one of the most dreaded out-patient procedure for little boys. I explained to him every step and detail of the whole process — he probably thought I was scaring the sh!t out of him. Too bad the truth is actually scary in itself.
Remember this day boy, John Michael Amador is now christened a Man.
Just wanted to show who’s my vote. Manny Villar for president! FYI, Gordon is my close second. And for the “yellow” person who claims he already won, who acts like a retard, who doesn’t know anything and who hasn’t done anything in office (as a legislative), sorry mate, you just plain suck in my book.
It’s May 3, and I’m at work. It sucks then I can’t vent out some frustration especially since I bear all responsibility for the team. How I wish to be workaholic, to be hard working, to be more patient, to have more patience, to have more heads and arms so I could do all the work. It’s tiring concealing the bitterness, fatigue and “negativity” I’m feeling right now.
I guess this is one dimension of work that I don’t like much. Being a positive force when there’s no positivity left.
Haha, I finally have the “motivation” to fix this blog from its default look, should be good for now, because I’m feeling lazy again. I’m planning to blog about my misadventures as a husband and a father soon, hahaha, hopefully I don’t teach my soon-to-be-son the “pitik tactic!”
Cheers!
Hey all, thanks for visiting my blog, a few months ago, this blog went down, and every post is gone. Which is fine really, however, there’s nothing interesting on this blog. I apologize for that, I’ll be posting more stuff when I’m not as lazy. Have a good one!
I shall be placing content as I go, but this is currently the last priority on my list, as I have to clean lots of stuff, anyways, I will be posting things every now and then.
